Chesterfield Food Bank Outreach Center is one of, if not the, most important and impactful private non-profits in Chesterfield County. We are incredibly efficient with every dollar granted to us and we help thousands of cases that would otherwise fall to social services.
Here’s why it is so important to support CFBOC
Chesterfield County saw 13.5% population growth from 2017-2023*
The Consumer Price Index for Food at Home jumped 11% in 2022 and another 5% in 2023+
Using 2017 as our baseline, the cost of Food at Home has grown over 25% heading into 2024+
The majority of people served by CFBOC are underemployed, meaning they are teachers, restaurant workers, EMTs, and other lower-paying employees of businesses and organizations in Chesterfield County
